ABOUT US
Link Educational Group is a US based non-profit organization. We started our journey in August 2020. We work for and among the people of Bangladesh. Our main beneficiaries are people from underdeveloped rural areas and underprivileged urban areas. Link Educational Group funds education related projects with a special emphasis on academic, moral and spiritual development.

OUR FOCUS
Education: We spread the light of education first to those who have limited access, then to others. Support for entire schools as well as qualified individual students in need is provided. Where appropriate, we aim to provide living arrangements for students.
Training and Mentoring: We impart practical knowledge of life skills to lead people toward a better quality of life. Mentoring individuals, families and community groups to develop upright character and establish productive and effective lifestyles is our goal.
Health: Link Educational Group teaches the value of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health, as well as practical ways to apply this teaching to everyday life.
Development Program: We help fund equipment, land, and building projects of like-minded entities in need.
OUR PEOPLE
Simon and Hannah Baidya are our primary contacts and leaders for our work in Bangladesh. Simon is a Bangladeshi who grew up in a small village and later moved to the capital city of Dhaka. He has a Master's Degree in Finance and Banking as well as a Master of Divinity. Hannah is from the USA, and spent three years in Bangladesh, where she met Simon. She is a certified elementary teacher and has a Master's Degree in Educational Administration and Leadership.
Simon and Hannah welcomed their firstborn son Lael on May 28, 2022. In addition to the Baidyas, a team of locals assists with overseeing and carrying out the various projects.

All online giving will go to our general fund. Link Educational Group can apply the funds where most needed when gifts are undesignated. Staff support is covered by the general fund which comes from undesignated gifts.

Each gift designated for a program will be used with the understanding that in the event the program is overfunded or unable to be completed for reasons beyond our control, gifts will then be used for similar board-approved programs.
Contributions are tax deductible. In accordance with IRS requirements, all gifts are given to and must be treated as belonging fully to Link Educational Group and are subject to its control and discretion.

Curt Cole - Chair: Curt has more than 30 years of cross-cultural mission’s experience, having lived and served in West Africa, Europe and South America. He is currently the International Personnel Director at Avant Ministries in Kansas City, Missouri. Curt and his wife, Karen, have 3 children and 5 grandchildren.
Diane Paton - Treasurer: Diane Paton is a founding member of Link Educational Group. She is an Accountant with about a decade of experience working with non-profit organizations. She and her husband served in missions overseas and in the US for 12 years. Diane enjoys teaching women’s Bible studies and supporting her children and grandchildren.
Tim Hoglund - Secretary: Tim Hoglund is an electrical engineer having recently retired from a 35 year career as a Designer / Architect and Technical Fellow for several companies within the semiconductor and computer industries. He also served in a voluntary role for more than a decade as Treasurer / Accountant for his church which gave him hand’s-on experience working within a non-profit organization. Tim and his wife, Ronna, have three sons and two grandchildren.
Tim Dane - Board Member: Dr. Tim Dane (Ph.D.) is the Senior Pastor of Mesa Hills Bible Church since 2011 and is the founding President of Front Range Bible Institute. Prior to that he served as the Senior Pastor of Anza Avenue Baptist Church in California from 1995 to 2005. He also worked as a full-time financial planner after graduation from UNLV in 1984. Over the years Dr. Dane has taught in numerous overseas seminaries and Bible Schools. Tim and his wife Karen have six children and welcomed their eighth grandchild in 2022.
